ABOUT THIS BLOG
I’m a missionary with EE International. I am the newly appointed Local Coordinator for Evangelism Explosion in the Central Valley Of California. The mission of Evangelism Explosion is "to glorify God by equipping believers to multiply in and through local churches worldwide." This aligns perfectly with my personal mission to "present Christ as savior and to pursue him as Lord."
I am currently in the Ministry Partnership Development phase of my ministry We are trusting God to raise up dozens of Ministry Partners who will support us financially and also show a desire to become involved personally in our ministry as it develops.

Here on my personal blog, I focus my journey from being a lead pastor to becoming an encouragement to lead pastors through the ministry of Evangelism Explosion. The gospel is always relevant, right? So why does it seem like we struggle so much to figure out how to articulate God’s incredible story? I am excited about the new tools that EE has developed to equip people to share the gospel in authentic relational ways. There was a time when EE was behind the curve, now EE is way ahead of the curve! The problem is that church leaders are not always aware of these change. This is not your mother's EE!
Seldom, if ever, do believers lead someone to faith in Christ through their own personal witness. Most do not know where to begin or how to articulate their faith. Even church leaders struggle with sharing their faith as a way of life. Why? We are not equipping the church to fulfill the Great Commission. By God's grace many outstanding tools have been developed that can be adopted, adapted and integrated into the life of the church which result in both leaders and laity learning to share their faith as a way of life.
My posts typically center on evangelism, my EE trek, and the ministry of EE in the central valley of California.
This blog is for the inspiration and education of my Ministry Partners, EE staff, and the church leaders who are utilizing EE's tools.

ABOUT ME
I have been a church planter and lead pastor for 35 years. God used me to plant two churches and enabled them to grow to become large multiple-staff congregations. Back in the day we were heavily involved in EE training and hosting clinics. EE, now referred to as Classic EE, was a key component in our strategy for planting and growing the church. For a variety of reasons (some related to us and some related to EE) we abandoned this methodology. Only recently did I become aware of the new tools developed by EE and the promise they hold for equipping a new generation of church leaders to equip the church in personal evangelism. I have joined the staff of EE hoping that my training, experience and spiritual gifts can be used by God to make a lasting impact for Christ by not only bringing others to Him but equipping others to do the same.
